Shameless - S01E05 - "Three Boys"

This episode really didn't do it for me. After last week's stellar episode with the baby kidnapping, this one just bored me to tears. It mostly concerns Kevin and Veronica's fake wedding. The constant twists of the plot of the on and off and back on again fake wedding just wasn't funny for me. Nor was the brother with tourettes. Is that supposed to be funny? I also wasn't the biggest fan of Frank and his 3 balls. It seems kind of ridiculous that a man like Frank would think its normal for a man to have 3 testicles. However, it did lend itself to the line of the night where Frank shouted "Just knowing your tits are trying to kill you, that's got to suck!" at the Breast Cancer counseling room. 7/10





Californication - S04E05 - "Freeze Frame"

I don't really know why I watch this show. It's a comedy, but I don't ever really recall myself gasping for air out of laughter. It's hardly for the drama that's for sure. It must be for the nudity and sex. Well if that's the case, this episode was disappointing! No hot blackberry asian girl taking it doggy style, no Sasha tits, and no Mia breasts!! I mean come on! You bring back Mia, and you don't show her boobs! :) Time is ticking for Hank and Abby the lawyer to hook up. I haven't seen her naked since Sin City haha. I wasn't the biggest fan of Runkle cutting his penis to find out that his vasectomy may not have been a complete success. Marcy being pregnant doesn't thrill me in any way nor make me laugh, and the notion that Charlie may be the dad at least will keep them together and fighting. That's usually where some of the great comedy has been. We'll see what happens to Hank now that there is a picture of him with Sasha and Mia down his pants 7/10
