Star Wars the Clone Wars: S03E16 - "Altar of Mortis"
This was part two of the three part series dealing with the force users. I felt the first part of this story was a lot stronger than this episode. Still it was neat to hear "StarKiller's" voice from Force Unleashed. They teased the death of Ahsoka by being infected with the Dark Side. We all know that she will have to die sometime, so it was a little thrilling to wonder if it would be at the hands of Anakin. 7/10

Spartacus - God's of the Arena S01E03 - "Paterfamilias"
After coming off two hot episodes, this show came back down to reality. The pacing and story was not that great this week. The story of Batiatus's rise is very interesting and appealing. It's great to see how he became so corrupt and vicious. Unfortunately this week, his antics took a back seat due to the return of his Father. Those scenes dragged, and the fighting this week were no where near as amazing as last week. We get to see Crixus win in the Arena for the first time and join the brotherhood. But that fight was a mere formality that he would win, and had no where near the drama or intrigue from last week when he battled Gannicus. It's also disheartening to know the season is half way over already :( 7/10

Kitchen Nightmares - S04E03 - "PJ's Steakhouse"
This was a really unique episode of Kitchen Nightmares. From the start it seemed like it was going to be the same old recycled crap - Owner doesn't work hard, chef is clueless but cocky. Chef thinks Gordon is full of crap, eventually he accepts Gordon's way, and then the place prospers the Chef apologizes and everyone's happy. What made this such a unique episode is that the Chef did not do well at any moment, and eventually was fired on the air! Gordon brought in his replacement, which prompted the night go super smoothly and PJ's looked like it was on its road to recovery. Another unique thing about this episode is that there was barely any make over. Usually Gordon does a complete make over, but I believe this one only did a sign and a tribute area. The last thing that made this episode unique was that there was no happy ending. At the end of the episode it was stated that PJ's was sold and no longer exists. Damn... What a shame! 8/10

Fringe - S03E12 - "Concentrate and Ask Again"
After two superb episodes since the move to Fridays, this week's episode was a drop in pacing. The mystery event of the week, a pathogen that causes your bones to disintegrate was rather gruesome and painful looking. I thought the whole mind reading part of the show was kind of dull. I feel for Walter, as he realizes that his experiments on children have left many broken lives. The end revelation with Peter still having feels for Fauxlivia (now canon!) should bring a dramatic season finale. 7/10
